I just did some reading about eBPF (ebpf.io). Where this is going to be sit in the micro vs monolith kernel?
I think the idea of a microkernel has changed pretty drastically. Widely extensible APIs like bpf() and userspace implementations like FUSE and nstack make Linux look a lot more like the MINIX vision today.
