That's a great reminder of the invisible social networks Apple supports. Obviously, these networks are built on top of real-world relationships (with real identities as you point out), and not the online-only networks, nor the passive networks of people we went to high school with.

That's really interesting and not something I had considered - Apple going social. It easily could happen, though.

One thing I'll push back on a bit: I'm not convinced that the total # of photos on iCloud is greater than the total number on Facebook. Both are likely well north of a trillion, though.
